Textielketten

What happens to your textiles?

All the textiles we collect are finely sorted in the Netherlands at Boer Group's certified sorting companies: Gebotex, Euro Used Clothing, and Marbo Used Clothing. Because all textiles are sorted by our own companies, we know they're going to good, sustainable destinations and we're preserving (socially responsible) jobs in the Netherlands. This also makes it easy for us to show our customers what we do with their used clothes and shoes.

Collection

Our partners are municipalities, schools or private companies like supermarkets. We offer customized solutions so that each partner can collect clothing and shoes in their best possible way. The two most commonly used containers are the mobile wheelie bin (1100 liters) and the fixed container (2300 liters). Both containers are available in various colors and can be provided with personalized stickers. This way, the container always perfectly matches your corporate style!

Sorting

Our professional sorting is a complex multi-step system that aims to keep the textiles in the loop as long as possible, We provide various qualities and more than 300 articles according to the global demand of second hand products or sorted textiles for recycling purposes.

Second-Hand

Extending the lifetime of a product is the best ecological option. With our experience and long-term partners in the different kind of second-hand market we can ensure that only marketable items are sold to the various markets. For the Dutch market, we have own second-hand stores under the brand name KETCH and Tardis Vintage. Additionally, we are happy to provide you second-hand qualities for your own store.

Recycling

Items that cannot be reused as  the origin product are sorted according to their material properties. So far, there are multiple options where textiles and textile fibres can be used, e.g. cut textiles as cleaning rags or for filling materials and fibres for automation industry or insulation.
Today, closed-loop recycling is still a nice and there exists almost no demand of processed textile waste for f2f-recycling. However, we are working on several solutions to increase textiles circularity.
